The treatment process begins with pretreatment to remove solids and equalize flow, followed by the core biological stage: the MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor). This technology uses thousands of high-surface-area biofilm carriers that host active biomass, ensuring robust organic degradation and nutrient removal even under fluctuating loads. The MBBR system’s resilience makes it ideal for domestic wastewater with variable composition.
Next, the DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation) unit polishes the effluent by removing fine suspended solids, colloids, and residual oils.
