We are pleased to announce the successful delivery and ongoing installation of four large integrated wastewater treatment units for a major project in El Salvador. Designed to handle a total capacity of 2500 m³/day, these systems provide a robust, space-saving solution tailored to the region’s growing infrastructure needs.
Each unit features a compact modular design that combines multiple treatment stages into a single footprint. The process begins with mechanical screening and equalization, followed by core biological treatment using MBBR technology with high-performance biofilm media. This ensures efficient organic and nutrient removal even under fluctuating loads. Subsequent tube settler clarification achieves rapid solid-liquid separation, producing high-quality effluent. Final disinfection prepares the water for safe discharge or reuse.
The four large-scale units are built to withstand tropical climate conditions, with durable materials and corrosion-resistant components. Their modular construction allowed for efficient transport and rapid on-site installation, minimizing construction time and site disruption. Despite the compact layout, each unit maintains easy access for maintenance and full automation for reliable operation.
With a combined 2500 m³/day capacity, this installation meets the demands of a growing community or industrial facility, ensuring environmental compliance and water sustainability.
